History: 
   Pitaya grew up in a modest desert home with her two parents and a younger sister. Outside, their home may have been dull and lifeless, but inside it was filled with plants and animals. They owned a family business in gardening, grooming the best plants and selling them across the regions. Her mother, father, and sister were well tuned into the life of gardening, but Pitaya's head was elsewhere. She loved plants, certainly, but admired them in a different perspective than her family. She was fascinated by their concept, how they worked, and what made them tick. She was fascinated by the science of nature.
   It was obvious to her parents that she was very intelligent. She may have won admiration and support from her father, but her mother was relatively disappointed, often acting with passive aggression towards Pitaya's aspirations. Pitaya wasn't deterred, however, and pursued her dreams in becoming a biologist in the science of plants--botany.
   She was given different sorts of plants, equipment, and grass type pokemon by her father to help her in her interests. A life in the desert may seem lifeless and excluded, maybe even isolated, but Pitaya had other things to comfort her. She had the company of plants and Pokemon, studying the growth of Bulbasaur's seed and the photosynthesis of different vegetation. Life at school was difficult for many reasons, but as long as she could come home and do what she loved best, she had no complaints.
   With lots of hard work and studying (of which she enjoyed) Pitaya was a master in her area of expertise. After graduating high school, she moved onto college, getting the degree in botany she had been aiming for. She got a job at the University of Goldenrod as a teacher, which excited her greatly! After saying her goodbyes to her parents, she hastily left home, arriving at the new city by boat. There, she began her new life as a teacher in the science of plant biology!

  When she feels the need to dance, it is difficult to get her to stop. Dancing is her favorite way of expressing emotions, whether it be upbeat or downbeat (yes, she will do sad dances and angry dances). If Pitaya likes you, she will most certainly get force you to dance with her.
   Pitaya is friendly, charming, and a bit eccentric. She loves to make friends and socialize. She has the tendency to be a bit shy and inconsistent when it comes to self confidence, but still loves company regardless. Pitaya has an easy time getting along with most individuals, and tries to be sweet and caring to everyone… who needs it. She is very sensitive, but tries not to let the effects of rude behavior or insults show. She is usually just smiling and dancing for the most part, suppressing negativity. This isn't necessarily a good thing, because this means she holds in her negative emotions until the point of explosion. Needless to say, she helps others without outwardly requesting being helped in return. She's selfless that way, but it can be her downfall as she tends to not show if she is truly hurting to others.

Hobbies: Dancing! Pitaya loves to make music with her body, and to do so, she is required to move about. She is notorious for salsa dancing and can shake her hips like no one's business. She can make a song out of literally anything, whether it is something made by another Pokemon or just by nature--whistling of wind, rustling of trees, and occasionally voices. She likes to sunbathe as well due to her species, because it gives her energy.

• She is actually not squeamish at all, and can handle the sight of blood, guts, or anything else grotesque. Screams and considerably 'eerie' noises do not affect her much either, however, that does not make her fearless. 
• More active and energetic in the Spring and Summer than Fall and Winter. During Winter, she gets a little more dormant
